Justice is tricky. If we are not aware of it - we may define justice as, what is fair and right for me and the ones I love (or even my country). However, true justice has a scope that is much more broad---justice is for all of humanity, the entire globe. Therefore, justice may have an individualized aspect---as far as--it's always personal. But justice has this massive systemic aspect--that things are intended to be set right, so others--the nameless, voiceless, faceless, are cared for--considered, and known.
Restoring life/systems toward justice is often difficult to go from ideals to the practical. As a community, we struggle with this. Our hearts are moved our guts are turned and our passion is enflamed by many of the global and local injustices we become aware of.
We see our community as a group that must be for justice (among other things). Therefore, we see action in several aspects:
* relational - build relationships with those in the margins
* creative - create new efforts toward more just living
* partnering - connect with and resource source individuals & groups who are doing justice relationally and creatively
